I have a lot of hair bows. A lot. And storing them all in a drawer wasn’t working very well, so I decided I needed a better storage solution! It took a few hours, and then it was ready to hang on the wall and hang dozens of bows and flowers on!
- A 12×12 blank activity board (I found mine in Michaels)
- Acrylic Paint
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
I got this wooden activity board from Michaels for about five dollars. After taking out the center wooden squares, I was left with a plain frame! I painted on two layers of acrylic paint.
That left me with this! On the back, I began to mark 1.5 inch intervals on either side of the frame.
I cut four 15 inch lengths of ribbons, and pinned them on to the lines lightly (and also used some tape!) When they were secured, I turned it over and double checked everything looked even.
I then went through and hot-glued each piece on! I held each of them taut as they dried so they wouldn’t be droopy.
That was it! I used command picture hanging strips to hang it on my wall, and then I hung up all my hair bows!
Easy peasy, and super cute! No more drawers full of hair bows!
