High Fashion Classics Part Three

Lolita Three

(Lolita, Lord of the Flies, The Little Prince)

The third post of pictures of my High Fashion Classics series! Thanks to all the girls who modeled and helped me out!  You can see Part One here and Part Two here.

Lolita Four

Lolita Five

Lolita Two

Lolita Three

Lolita One

Lolita / Vladimir Nabokov / 1958
Model: Lauren Y.

Lolita was one of the first shoots I planned, and I pictured Lauren for it almost straight away. Luckily, it turned out perfectly, because she was extremely skilled at blowing bubblegum bubbles, which I forgot to ask her about until just a few days before we planned to meet.

Prince Five

Prince Two

Prince Three

Prince Four

Prince Six

Prince One

Le Petit Prince / Antoine de Saint-Exupéry / 1943

Model: Kylie W.

Face Paint: Tia K.

This was one of my favorite shoots overall. I love how it turned out, and how the background ended up looking like a sort of night sky! Kylie was a great model, once again, and got into the mood of the book almost immediately. The Little Prince was and still is one of my favorite children’s books, so I was thrilled how they turned out.

Flies Two

Flies Three

Flies One

Flies Four

Flies Five

Lord of the Flies / William Golding / 1954

Model: Hannah B.

This was an incredibly fun one to shoot! To get the look of the ‘sack dress’, we ended up pinning Hannah in to a piece of large, fake leathe fabric, and tying a waist piece. I teased the top section of her hair and french-braided the sides (which, later, when she took it out, looked fabulous I’m sure). She had read the book, so was immediately ‘in character’ when we began to take pictures.

Thanks to all the models, and everyone who helped me!
